Welcome To America’s Family Community!
On August 21st, starting at approximately 11:33 am, and lasting for 2 minutes and 17 seconds, the sun will be obscured as the moon passes between the earth and the sun.
Rexburg has been named one of the premier places in the United States to view this historic eclipse, due to Rexburg’s high altitude, high probability of clear skies and location just 7 miles north of the transect line.
Rexburg is home to Brigham Young University-Idaho, a four-year university, and the largest college in Idaho. Rexburg has teamed up with BYU-Idaho to offer an educational lecture series the weekend before the eclipse.
This site has been designed for both visitors and residents to prepare for the 2017 Eclipse. Please browse our site for information on public viewing locations, services, activities and much more.
We hope to see you this August!
